Customizing your AI Assistant (Live Chat)

Learn how to personalize your AI Assistant. Change theme colors, avatar, launcher image, UI language and more

Frontline allows you to easily customize and personalize your AI Assistants live chat appearance. As you make changes, you'll be able to preview them live with the live chat emulator to the right. Here's a quick guide.

  1. Updating the Live Chat UIs language

You can change the initial message and input placeholder text using the "Initial Message" input field and "Chat placeholder" input field.

2. Chat Launcher Alignment

You can select between "right" or "left". This will basically change the positioning of the chat launcher on your website. If "right" is selected, the widget will appear on the bottom right corner of your website. If "left" is selected, the widget will appear on the bottom left corner of your website.

3. Live Chat Theme & Personalization

Users can change:

  • Assistant Nickname. This is the name that will appear at the top of the live chat widget).

  • Assistant Profile Picture. This is the picture that will appear on the top left corner of the widget, beside the assistant's nickname.

  • Chat Launcher Image. This is the Live Chat's launcher image, where you click to launch the live chat widget.

  • Select chat color. Will change the color of live chat interface, including header, message bubbles and buttons.

4. Removing the Frontline branding from the Live Chat interface (Premium feature)

If you want to remove the "Powered by Frontline" tagline from the Live Chat's interface you can do so by unchecking the checkbox. This is paid feature, not included on any plan. To enable this feature you'll need to purchase the add-on to white-label the interface. You can do this from the billing section > Plans & Pricing and selecting the add-on.
